eiriasAddendum to the breast-feeding post from the other day: I just realized, and this is probably already obvious to others, that it's not only neuroticism about Mommyhood that's feeding that -- it's also the weird American obsession with food. If we feed ourselves with wholesome food, we will be perfect and forever young! If a person is not feeding himself with wholesome food, he should be converted or shunned!
I mean, yeah, a life full of nothing but convenience food isn't the best idea, but sometimes there isn't time for a perfectly balanced stir fry and you have to make do with Domino's. I think there's a good case for viewing formula-feeding the same way.
