I have been hard at work on making a wiki of my prelim reading so that my thoughts can all go in one place, which will be very helpful come exam time. I haven't totally kept it up to date, but the list of things I haven't read really is still much longer than the list of things I have read (*sigh*). Still, they're neat tools, and take much less mucking than an ordinary webpage.

I feel vaguely nerdy, in a Johnny-come-lately way.

*drools in awe*

That's SO NEAT. Where was this wiki fad when I was doing my degree? Wow. It's like my brain on a page. If my brain could keep track of stuff. And, you know, knew cogsci.

Interesting. I have a program on my computer for such purposes, but the interface seems different. It's more of the trees and nodes sort of thing.

I might just have to copy this idea. I've been looking for ways of organising my references so I can go back and find stuff quicker, and of setting up an easy online discussion of things I've read, but I had been seeing that as two separate tasks. A wiki open to other people to comment might just solve both.
