My data suck.

This is not the kind of suck where they spit on your hypothesis and leave, oh no. No, this is the kind of suck where they storm your apartment and replace all of your furniture with moldy Jell-O, and then accidentally step on your hypothesis on the way out.

*laughs* yeah, the first experiment of the four in my dissertation proposal did that to me. i never even got to run the other three, since i spent the entire rest of my experimental career trying to explain the results of #1.

that said, i did get a dissertation out of it :)

Meep. There seems to be a rash of that kind of data in this building of late, though...me, I'm trying to cope by unleashing a torrent of Individual Differences^TM Brand Bug Spray on them, but results from that kind of action are mixed at best.
