Open letter to my upstairs neighbor

I recently had the pleasure of delivering this note to my upstairs neighbor, who is refusing to leave despite the end of his lease:

Dear [asshole],

Rumor has it that you have decided to squat. I’m writing in the hopes that you will reconsider. A friend of mine was scheduled to move in here today. Like you, she is a graduate student and money is always tight. Because of you, she is now homeless. Think about this for a second. Your irresponsibility has made somebody homeless. Your refusal to deal with your own life has made your problem into somebody else’s problem. Adults do not behave in this manner. Please leave now. You are not welcome here.

could it be that he is no longer a student (and hence his lack of place to go?) perhaps he did something equally shady to the university (eg. yeah so I dont want to graduate and will be a student forever even though i wont pay tuition)...

Yeah, I since found out that he's not with Chem anymore, so this is looking pretty plausible. I was skeptical just because *yesterday* he was listed, you know? But it's near the beginning of the school year, so maybe it's roll-purging time in Chem. And if he failed out of school it explains his total lack of ambition where living quarters are concerned.
