I voted.

Now the butterflies commence.

I know the feeling. *crosses fingers* With any luck litigation will be minimized and we'll have a new President-elect in 12hrs or so ... (and hopefully fewer gay marriage banning state ammendments than predicted)

I voted two weeks ago... and am still undecided about whether to bother watching TV (or CNN online or whatever) at all today. Barring an unexpected blowout, it's almost certain that it won't be decided before I fall asleep (on an early EST schedule here), so I'm thinking it's probably just stress I don't need.

I am thinking along the same lines. I'm ignoring any "predictions" until at least tomorrow morning.
Since I live in liberal-city I think I'll be able to tell just by walking outside and looking at peoples reactions.

There is wisdom in that suggestion.

However, I am going to ignore it and go to an all-night election party at Andrew Yonda's house instead. And be SLEEP DEPPED and GRUMPY as HELL tomorrow, and that's OK. (Maybe I'll cancel office hours and stay home and work from there... except, hmm, home has a TV... therein lies the flaw in my plan.)

good idea...unfortunately I simply cannot hold back so I'm going to watch the results anyway. I'm going to a bar where they're showing it to a bunch of Penn graduate students and guests. I think most people will be rooting for the same person as I will be. The good thing is that alcohol will be there to hopefully calm my nerves. (open bar, in fact)

I think we're going to sit around and watch the daily show. I voted a few days ago, so my work here is done.

Oh, and I'm getting $600 worth of dental work done mid-day. That's how to spend an election!

I think it would help a lot of people to be hopped up on low level narcotics on election day. :)

I voted (not that it matters in NY; maybe I should have done that VotePair thing), then came home and played Diablo II. I figure that if I play games through December, and then check the news, the election might be decided by then. No sense in worrying about it in the meantime, though. (It's just freedoms, thousands of lives, and the economy at stake, plus a few things I'm forgetting about. Not that much, really.) And hey, maybe my vote has make a difference for the city school board.

I'm a glutton for information. I'll be watching everything hoping to know as soon as humanly possible. And getting drunk. Because really, you have to for this election.
